We’re looking for a curious, structured colleague who enjoys digging into details, connecting with people, and bringing order to complex information.
About Flatpay
Flatpay is not just another payment solution; we're dedicated to innovating the market for payment solutions and financial services in the SME segment with our customer-centric and transparent services.
We've grown into one of the fastest-growing fintech companies out of the Nordics and Denmark's fastest unicorn company. Today, we're more than 2,500 colleagues across Europe and the US, building products that make a real difference for our customers.
We're ambitious, move fast, and like to challenge the status quo - but we also believe work should be fun. We celebrate wins, help each other out, and create an environment where people can do great work while genuinely enjoying the journey.
What you'll do
You’ll coordinate ESG data collection and reporting across our markets, working with internal teams, suppliers, and external compliance partners. From reviewing supplier documentation to improving reporting processes, you’ll help ensure we have reliable information and clear ways of working as we grow.
This is a hands-on role with international exposure and room to develop. You’ll help shape Flatpay’s ESG function from the ground up, taking increasing ownership as your knowledge and experience grow.
Coordinate ESG reporting across markets. Organize data collection, follow up on inputs, and support accurate, timely reporting, including CSRD-related work where applicable.
Build a reliable data foundation. Review compliance reports, product documentation, and supplier data sheets; identify gaps; and source the information needed for reporting.
Work across teams and borders. Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and external compliance partners to make reporting processes clear and manageable.
Track relevant requirements. Help assess what developments in CSRD, the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), and local producer responsibility schemes mean for Flatpay.
Coordinate producer responsibility reporting. Work with Dansk Producentansvar (DPA), equivalent organisations in other markets, and relevant compliance partners.
Support practical sustainability initiatives. Contribute to improvements in reverse logistics, refurbishment, and how we manage products throughout their lifecycle.
Help establish our ESG function. Build processes, improve data quality, and gradually become an internal point of contact for sustainability reporting and compliance questions.
Who you are
An interest in ESG and sustainability, particularly the data and reporting behind them.
An analytical mindset and confidence working with spreadsheets and structured data.
A careful, organised approach: you spot inconsistencies, ask questions, and follow through.
The ability to work with colleagues and suppliers to get the information you need.
Curiosity about regulations and the ability to translate complex information into clear next steps.
Strong communication skills in English and an interest in working across international markets.
Previous exposure to ESG reporting, sustainability, compliance, or data analysis is a plus. This could come from a full-time role, student position or involvement in relevant project. Familiarity with CSRD or producer responsibility is welcome, but you don’t need to arrive as an expert in every framework.
Why Flatpay
Joining Flatpay means stepping into a dynamic environment where innovation is encouraged, and teamwork is celebrated. Here, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, contributing to our mission of empowering merchants to succeed.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build practical ESG experience across multiple markets and see the direct impact of your work. Your ideas will help shape our processes, strengthen our reporting, and inform how we approach sustainability as we scale.
With us, you’ll experience an ambitious drive to constantly push boundaries and redefine what's possible. While we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we take our responsibility towards our people very seriously. We welcome driven, low-ego individuals who live our values and want to grow with us.
